It had been a long time since we had all been able to get together – so was lovely to gather in Frank’s garden back in October to record this version of Time’s Dark Wing. Thanks for Frank for the recording and production too. Here’s looking forward to venues reopening next year when we can see you all again …
We’ve been beavering away in our various living rooms and man caves to put together this new version of Phil’s song Shiloh. We’ve played it out as a trio before, but it’s been exciting to hear new parts from Frank and Mark that turn it into a full band production. There’s an as yet unresolved discussion about whether everyone should paint their recording dens green in the interest of a better visual aesthetic. It’s not so much the principle that’s the sticking point so much as agreeing on the correct shade of green. And then there’s the clothes …
